Café no Chiado Nice salads, although a little on the pricey side.  Nice service though and crisp white linen tablecloths.  Great place to sit outside in the shade of the trees and watch the trams trundle by.

Royale Café Good for salads and open sandwiches, pretty small patio area at rear of café. 

Terra Book a table in the garden and enjoy the organic vegetarian buffet, perfect spot for a long leisurely lunch.
