Vinho ao Vivo - 29 & 30 July

When? 29 and 30 of July, (Thursday and Friday) between 6pm and 11pm
Where? In Belém,in À Margem a esplanade by the river Tejo, in an outdoor setting.
How much will it cost? 20EUR for a day, 30EUR for two.  Why two days?  To taste 120 wines a few hours are needed.
What's included? The tasting of 120 wines and some live music so that nothing is amiss.
Will there be food? Yes.  À Margem will provide a special menu with different options from the light informal fare to more traditional sitting down meal.
Can I buy any of the wines? Yes.  Each participant will receive a list with the wine prices and at the exit arrangements can be made for ordering and delivering any preferences.
Free delivery for Lisbon orders over 50 euros.
Special requests will be consider in a case by case basis.

Festa de Cinema - July 24 - Aug 7

The Festa de Cinema began on Saturday, the first film to be shown was Sex and the City 2, click for our review.   Nightly films follow, and include Ingloroious Basterds, Sherlock Holmes, The Blindside, Alice in Wonderland, Kick Ass - a new Superhero, The Hurt Locker and The Princess and the Frog.  Films are shown on a large open air screen with the option of dinner to be included.  Tickets are 4EUR and 4.50EUR and 18EUR with Dinner.  See Festa de Cinema for further details.  Five more films have now been added including A Bela e o Paparazzo, How to train your Dragon, The Prince of Persia, Robin Hood and Date Night.    

Opening Night of Festival dos Oceanos - July 31

Saturday July 31 sees the start of Festival dos Oceanos, the opening show will include sets by Lauryn Hill, Estelle and Portuguese Band, Seda.  Free Entrance. For more details click here.
